On May 10-11, 2024, the Opening Weekend of the Legnica SILVER Festival will take place - one of the largest festivals bringing together artists of contemporary jewelry in Europe.
The next edition of the Legnica SILVER Festival is taking place from April 3 - a prestigious event with a rich history dating back to the 1970s. This festival has grown into one of the most important reviews of contemporary jewelry in Europe, gathering every year a crowd of artists, lovers of this field of art and an international audience.
On May 10-11, 2024, Legnica will once again become the capital of jewelry. During the opening weekend, you will be able to admire exhibitions, take part in the awards gala of the 32nd International Jewelery Competition EMPATIA awarded by the International Amber Association, listen to popular science lectures and participate in other accompanying events.

The heart of the festival will be several exhibitions located in the heart of the city, thanks to which we can discover the latest trends in jewelry, admiring the works of both masters and promising debutants.
One of them is the AMBER 2024 > Other Criteria exhibition organized by the International Amber Association, which you can read more about here.
Classics lovers will certainly be interested in the Silhouettes of Creators, Silver Schools and Debuts exhibitions. Fans of experiments, on the other hand, cannot miss the Holownia presentation - an exhibition of works not qualified for the main competition.
The star of the festival will be Mariko Kusumoto from Japan, who will charm us with her metal and fabric jewelry. On a daily basis, her work can be found in, among others, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Next to her we will see the works of Petr Machata from Slovakia, who combines metal with plastic, and Mari Ishikawa from Japan, a master of metaphorical jewelry.
Amber in a new version will delight at the exhibition of the International Amber Association, and young artists will present themselves at the exhibitions of the Jewelry Institute of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź and Jonatan Poeche.
Technology fans will certainly be interested in the "Computer and jewelry" exhibition, and movie lovers cannot miss SMCK On Reel - a festival of films about jewelry and applied art.
The culmination of the festival will be the awards gala of the 32nd International Jewelery Competition EMPATIA. Nearly 300 artists from 45 countries sent works to Legnica - so it promises to be a real feast for connoisseurs!
