IAA Amber Laboratory meritorical supervisor, IAA Amber Appraiser

Head and researcher at the Department of Chemistry and Technology of Functional Materials, Faculty of Chemistry, Gdańsk University of Technology.
Author of many publications on, among others, Baltic amber.

It was, among others, on her initiative that an agreement was established between the IAA and the Gdańsk University of Technology, as a result of which it was possible to study Baltic amber and other natural and synthetic resins in a scientific way. By introducing the topic of fossil resins to the permanent sphere of her scientific research, here in Gdańsk, the World Capital of Amber, a place for scientific, reliable amber research was created.

With her knowledge, she supports the entire group of appraisers of the Association, which results in their improvement in the latest methods of identifying Baltic amber, detecting its imitations and counterfeits, and leads to an increase in the authority of our organization.
